A gripe of mine for the VC is the very slim chance of anything with a certain theme, or um, violence, will more than likely not be approved by the ESRB. Zombies Ate My Neighbors was approved for the VC, and then removed. This gives me very slim hopes for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

I don't own a wii, but I own many of the systems that it offers games for on the virtual console. If a game came out on VC that I was interested in I'd be more likely to give the rom a spin, then buy the original game. Often times the original games are cheaper than their VC counterpart.

I think the idea of virtual console and downloadable content (this applies to to xbox and ps3 also), but I have a problem about ownership. Its just memory on a harddrive... so if you sell your system you lose it all. or if something happened to your harddrive. I dunno, you just have nothing to show you own it, I have tons of downloaded dreamcast games, but I still buy lots of them. Even then its different because at least you have a physical copy of the burned game. Its great that Rez and Ikaruga are coming to xbox live along with many other great games, but I'd rather just fork over the money for the DC originals (pal and jpn respectively) or just get rez for ps2 and ikaruga for gamecube.

What do you guys think about this?
