Have you used anything else on this particular TV, just to confirm that the TV isn't the problem. You have already ruled out the cables, since you tried RF and composite.

If other things work proper through the same inputs on that same TV, and the cables aren't the problem, then something is wrong with the Genesis itself.

Can you open up the Genesis and take some pics? I believe all you need is a #2 phillipshead screwdriver. If you can take a large, clear picture of the top side of the board (the side that you can see all the components on) and post it here, maybe some one can spot something that's obviously wrong. Like a bad cap, as Hobie suggested.
