Last boss, not far off defeating it. If I keep this up, I should be able to clear the first loop fairly soon...

This score would put me at #58 in the Shmups Farm hi-score table. If I make it to the 2nd loop, I reckon I could get over 10 million.

Been doing save state training as per Prometheus' guide on Shmups forum. Have save states set up, 8 per level up to level four. About the last minute of stage 4 is giving me trouble though. Played that one minute for about an hour yesterday til my head was about to explode. Need to cut that section in to smaller chunks.

Everything came together nicely in this run. A stupid mistake at the start of Stage 5 cost me a life (and all those sweet bombs as well) but I held it together for the rest of the stage and had about 3 bombs and another life to beat the boss with. Full bomb stock going into the 2nd loop, so I bomb-spammed my way through the first two stages (not actually too difficult, as it happens).

Sweet. My more immediate goal is to make it to stage 5 in a legit run, completing the firs loop would be amazing. Is stage 5 longer than stage 4?

Both stages are pretty long. I'd say they're similar in length, probably about 5-6 minutes each.

I thought Type C wasn't gonna be all that good, but in this game it's very good for the hit combos, even though I still prefer Type A in DoDonPachi. You don't get nearly as much time to chain hits here as you do in DDP, so it's important to have a ship that can cover more of the screen.

Area 4 is VERY long, longer than the previous 3 areas.

Anybody see that message when a boss comes out?

A run that turned into poo on stage three, wasted lives, died on stage 4 with bombs in stock cause of one of those annoying green dudes flying into me from underneath. Meh.
