Get Far Cry 3 for like £5 and Dragon Age. Thank me later.
From what I've gathered Far Cry 3 is the better game as it is more fresh than FC4 which by all accounts is good, but has too much of a 'more of the same' vibe about it. FC3 is worth playing as a stand a lone game without touching the rest of them. If you want some tongue in cheek 80s nostalgia-wank get Blood Dragon once you have finished FC3.
Far Cry 4 or Dragon Age Inquisition?

This is so true.Niode wrote: From what I've gathered Far Cry 3 is the better game as it is more fresh than FC4 which by all accounts is good, but has too much of a 'more of the same' vibe about it.
That said, I have Dragon Age and I'm finding it pretty dull, if I'm honest. I'm four or five hours in and I'm bored. So it all comes down to your tastes really.

What the hell is a Super Mario Brother?!
It comes down to what you prefer, RPG or FPS. Both are semi-open world games with plenty of distractions. And both are well worth the price of admission. Also if you plan on playing Far Cry 4 I'd start with Far Cry 3 at least which is cheap and fantastic.

My latest game acquisition was Donkey Kong Junior on Atari 2600. To say I'm behind the times is an understatement.Xeogred wrote:The above rock is Bone's house.
I mean really though man, the series has been around since 2004.
Talked to my brother yesterday though and he was raving about Far Cry 4. So there is that.

Is he into retro games? Polar opposites maybe?
