Tool around town and hit up all the Goodwills. Look for Wegas. That's where I got mine. $20-something.
Keep in mind CRTs are heavy and you'll need a decent piece of furniture for a TV stand. Not one of those crap carts used to hold HDTVs.
I do a dual-television set-up. I use the HDTV only for HD consoles (Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, Retron 5, and occasionally the Neo Geo X) as well as cable. Everything else gets hooked up to the Wega.
I know lots of guys posting here are really hardcore about getting optimal hook-ups and picture quality, but I am generally cool with the default. Doesn't cost any extra money either.
