Riddick is a helluva game, but read the rules, no suggestions in this topic.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
I am for a hybrid option. I would like the community as a whole to have some say of what will be featured on the list, but the chaos from last years choosing was a bit rough.
Also..
Fixed that for you!

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
I'm for the first option. With fewer people with dogs in the fight, I think we could come up with a really interesting list.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
I'm all for the hybrid option. Cause at the end of the day, Together Retro is made possible by our community. I think taking away all the voting would be against what it stands for. At the same time, I think there should be some curation so we don't end up having to play Shenmue next year. Not that I'm the most active TR participant anyway.
Older. Not wiser.

For as many articles as I write, my participation rate has got to be one of the lowest. I do love reading the threads, though.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
I say let the writers pick the TR games. Just allow public input. That input needn't have any weight at all; it just feels nice when everyone gets to voice his/her opinion.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
Voted Hybrid.
Letting everyone nominate their own games gets a little chaotic and then we end up with several games that garner only one vote (by the person that nominated it).
I also dislike the idea of giving total control to the mods. Mainly because I don't want to play Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2, Shock Troopers 2, or a random Atari 7800 game.

It isn't "total control to the mods" it is "control to the people who actually write the articles"
I think if people want to see certain games played they can step up and offer to write about them.

Well I was joking.
But yeah, comprehension fail on my part. Writers, not mods.
Anyway, I dig the hybrid idea.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
As much as I enjoyed suggesting games for Together Retro, I can't be doing with all the shit from last years thread again. I voted Hybrid.
