Audiophiles please help me get ALAC files on my iphone

Good point! I use Free Audio Converter which has been great until now, but I use a Windows laptop so XLD and Max aren't a possibility. I might have a go with this one:

Does anyone have any recommendations that aren't dbpoweramp (due to it being pricey)?

The download above worked! Only problem is unless you buy the Pro version it only converts one song at a time thanks for your help!

I wish they'd finally put a visualizer in iOS, but I guess Apple assumes people don't want to leave their phones on with the battery draining (we can use the thing plugged in, Apple, geez...).

Also, there are various plugins/extensions that can extend iTunes's ability to play other formats, like FLAC. The problem is that these only work in iTunes and not for the iOS devices.
