This hits us hard. He was a part of many people's childhoods. Lots of his movies were seen and enjoyed by this generation

I've read stuff on other places. Mostly positive. It hurts, but mr. Williams legacy will exist forever in the media that he helped create.

Here's a classic one from my childhood:

(I just realized he made a joke at the start that I never picked up before; it has a sole)

This is the first time i actually feel sad for the death of actor... i didn't know he was battling depression :( it seems that the most happy people have the troubled minds.

RIP.

yeah, pretty devestated. Odd as it may seem, there are very few movies I've watched more than Toys. Fisher King is maybe my fave, Awakenings makes me well up like nothing, Dead Poets & What Dreams are amazingly emotional...Mrs. Doubtfire 2 would have been fun...

sigh

such range, such talent...a real influence on my life for sure...taught me being silly and perpetually child-like can have its place in the adult world.

so sad...

+1, What Dreams May Come is going to be a kick in the gut to watch from now on for sure.

That was a really awesome and surreal movie. Yeah, didn't think of that one in this case... dang.

Sister linked me this, heh.

Sad day. I used to watch his standup with my parents when I was a teen and we always had a good laugh.
