I work today, but I don't have a boss. Well....I mean I do...but I have never met them nor seen them. Add to it, they have never delegated any tasks to me, nor do I know what tasks I must perform in my day to day work week. That's how cool this place is.

When I did telemarketing the worst day was Friday, especially before a holiday weekend. I'd go from "can't take a break because we're getting so many inbound calls" to "People are getting sent home because we just don't have contacts."

Fridays do stink to. It does depend on the field of business, but when you're trying to get in contact with a physician on a Friday, you might as well take the day off. Some Fridays I always felt like I was the only person working.

The best days for me were the ones when the weather was terrible. That's when I would beat feet and visit as many physicians/dentists/chiropractors as possible because some patients would cancel their appointments.

Sorry to bring it back to football, but Sundays seem empty without it. Sunday's (besides True Blood Parties). It's all preparing for Monday, on your day off. Ironing your pants and shirts, laundry, grocery shopping for the week, cleaning the house so you can relax when you get home. A bunch of work to get ready for work.

I love Fridays... Hate Thursdays.. Everybody puts in orders Thursday to have stuff before the weekend is up.

Friday everybody is preparing for the weekend.

and I 100% agree with Sunday feeling empty

 Just realized I used "to" instead of "too". Howz embarraskin?

Again, all depends on the industry within you work. Fridays, I would assume in general, aren't good for sales. On a Friday, during or after work, people don't want to buy anything but booze. No one gets off of work and thinks, "I should run some errands!".

To be candid, when I leave work on a Friday, my window is rolled down, and I stick half my torso out the window and let the wind blow through my hair. It's so calming. Even just at 30 mph it feels great.

I really need to go back to a job where I work in an office, and at home.

Generalizing.

Sometimes errands are run on Fridays, especially if it is the beginning of the month. Not everyone works M-F. Sometimes errands are preparation for the weekend. How many times have you posted "picking up X for a gathering tonight".

Hey look, errands.

I have literally never, in 16 years of being employed more-or-less full time (full time or better for the past 12-13), had a 9-5 M-F job. And with how pleased I am with my current job and the fact that I intend to stay here until I retire (and there's a real possibility I can do that), it seems unlikely I ever will.

So I really have no idea what y'all are talking about dreading Mondays

Of course my dad, who's now semi-retired and only working Mon, Tues, and Fri *STILL* (good-naturedly) whines about Sunday Night being so terrible.
