Nobody's made me want to spill $300 for another system yet.

Nintendo had the most interesting stuff to me. Enough that I might even buy a Wii U come 2015.

I felt they were all strong this year and each had really compelling games for their systems.

Star Wars Battlefront III, and the pretend Mass Effect announcement were the only not Nintendo things that got me hyped this E3. They made me want to get a Wii U. Unfortunately, I'm still a broke ass college student, but I may be able to get myself one later on this winter. We'll see. Also, Star Fox.

Sony did have some pretty decent looking stuff. I'm definitely leaning way more towards getting a PS4 instead of an Xbone, when the time comes.

There are objectives within the maps and having to juggle keeping your forces on top and completing the tasks necessary to take on the boss characters really gave it a nice spin that interests me.
Haven't caught any E3 footage, but you just described ALL Dynasty Warriors games. Kind of wish people would actually PLAY those games instead of just jumping on the bashing bandwagon.

I have played a lot of the PS2 Dynasty Warriors games and I enjoyed them, but felt they got monotonous. I can not account for the more recent titles, but Hyrule Warriors is doing things different than the dynasty warriors I know.

I would say sony, because they brought a lot to the table, but that nintendo showcasing....I already knew i needed a wii u but now.... finally someone gets we don't want to see a bunch to trailers with no gameplay....i want to see how the game will be along with a trailer. Or even better show a trailer followed by gameplay. Get kinda tired of hearing about games that are a year or two from being presentable and even remotely playable...

If we go just on games in a playable state then I would say Nintendo won. But in overall showing I'd say Sony.

I think it's been pointed out before but stuff like Morpheus and Playstation TV/Now is news that makes it outside gaming press into the mass media outlets. The BBC's tech programme Click was very focused on VR head sets for example. That generates more of a buzz for the PS4 in the general public.

I also thought Sony's press conference was smarter in the games it showed. No Man's Sky has been the breakout hit and having a game play reel for Arkham Knight was a big boon. The stuff on display just felt fresher when compared to Microsoft showing another Assassin's Creed and another Call of Duty. So I vote Sony.

Well yeah sony had a ton of great stuff but the devs all brought trailers for the most part and not gameplay. Bloodbourne's was a nice touch but I wanted to see some play through of that and a few others(at least we got batman, which reminds me once I get a chance I need to take a wack at arkham asylum since I do own that one, and all these modern superhero games have been a key interest of mine to play once I got a chance...). Maybe next year everyone else will learn to add gameplay to their trailers...

Sony easily, a lot of Nintendo's exclusives looked pretty mediocre. The paintball game looks like a free to play 3rd person shooter, the toad game didn't look spectacular, the first yarn game was boring and had stale level design so i'm not confident in the yoshi game. I thought the Zelda open world thing was cool news, and I really enjoyed the trailer to Xenoblade.

Exclusives are overrated though, it's really strange how people who follow games kinda put 3rd party stuff into limbo as if they are non canon. There are a lot of multiplat games that looked better than all of the Nintendo games, it might be one thing if they were coming to Wii-U, but they're not.

Sony's I thought had the most impressive lineup, on top of having some really cool exclusives. Sequel to Demonsouls in Bloodborne is great and No Man's Sky looked unbelievable, especially considering how small of a team made it. I'm not too big on LittleBigPlanet and the Order looks...okay, but nothing spectacular. Couldn't really tell much from Uncharted 4, but at least it looked nice.

Rainbow Six was a technical marvel, never seen a level that was so destructible while also looking graphically impressive. Witcher 3, Tombraider 2, that World War 1 Platformer from Ubisoft (actually, is this coming to all 3 consoles?), The Division and Arkham Knights (which really blew me away, I didn't think it would look anything like that); great reasons to own a PS4 on top of their exclusives.

The Playstation TV thing was huge news I thought. You dont' even need a console to play PS3 stuff. Then there's that deal where you have access to PSVita's library amongst other stuff for 99 USD.

So yeah, E3 pretty much said to me that Sony will give you the best bang for your buck.

I thought the big three had pretty entertaining shows though. Microsoft had cool announcements too, though none of the games gave me da boner except for the Platinum games announcement. I actually think the Halo bundle is awesome too, too bad it's not coming out for 360 =\.
