One player is the "Link", one player is Navi. Sort of like how Super Mario Galaxy did it with the Lumsomething, only instead of collecting star bits you push A to go "Hey, Listen!"CavZee wrote:Co-op is another thing that I'd be uneasy about.fastbilly1 wrote:People are also saying it may be Gannondorf based on the bracers (even though the bracers are very different).
Though open world, character creation, and coop, would make me giddy.

I am all for an open world Zelda with Zelda herself as the protagonist.

If this happened, I would buy a WiiU...for my then six-year-old daughter (who would have a fit watching me play as the beloved, and super tough, Princess Zelda).Exhuminator wrote:I am all for an open world Zelda with Zelda herself as the protagonist.

THIS would be fine with me, but not if it's completely different character. Link or Zelda, anything else and it just flat out isn't a Zelda game. Any company can make an adventure game in a fantasy setting with a horse, but it's the characters that fans want to see, not some random new protagonist.Exhuminator wrote:I am all for an open world Zelda with Zelda herself as the protagonist.

Nintendo actually released (or made available) a Zelda game with different characters on the SNES Satellaview :Retrogamer0001 wrote:THIS would be fine with me, but not if it's completely different character. Yeah, there's probably a reason no one has heard of that thing - and what the hell is a Satellaview?

It was a Japan-only peripheral where you downloaded games onto the Satellaview; some (if not all) were time limited.Retrogamer0001 wrote:Yeah, there's probably a reason no one has heard of that thing - and what the hell is a Satellaview?

Ugh, let's not even go there. Just say that Link dyed his hair red and leave it at that...
