That is a 120 bucks a year, so in ten years if the rates do not go up then you invested over an additional thousand dollars in your collection. Great that you will have an opportunity to recover TODAYS value, but if your collection is stolen years from now, how many games could be recovered at the current price let alone some even found? A constant update of the current value and increased monthly rates. At least with the Collectors Insurance you have the money loss option, just how much one is willing to invest to get back that loss.loganm187 wrote:After talking to many local insurance companies and hearing horror stories I found http://www.collectinsure.com and read tons of awesome reviews from collectors of all types. (Lots of Gun collectors swear by them it seems.) I got insured for over $50,000 for my over 3,000 game collection plus systems, accessories, etc. It's going to cost me around 20 bucks a month and covers about everything awful that could happen.
Agree with earlier statement concerning Car Insurance. After a year or two just get the minimum coverage. The damages will only cover the sellers (NOT BUYERS) current value of a vehicle; crazy how much a two year old car depreciates.
