Yeah I kinda figured that part out after the fact of posting this thread and several posts in it...all I need to do now is just wait for my downloads to finish, I hate that psp doesn't have a download queue that works in the browser like vita, ps3, and ps4....

Yeah but still I kinda thought sony would've enabled that in a update or something. Kinda makes me want to get the physical versions of games I've already purchased on psn since the 3 I have downloaded took painstakingly long and the psp doesn't seem to like my mom's wifi(which most things don't like it, it seems)

why on earth would you remove this? you can just take off the games/emulators you don't want. this is maddening to me.

Because I'm strange like that and have already done it. I don't do emulation(except the ps1 emulation that psp does with classics), and have no use for it. If i want to play gba I'll do that on a gba, snes on a snes, and any portable version of a home console game there's likely a official way(even if it costs me money) to play the games without the cfw. I just don't see a need for it personally when I have ways to do some of it without a cfw with the systems I own.

One thing you should consider is that CFW will allow you to burn and play PSP .iso files. As I understand it, playing a PSP game off of your memory stick reduces load times drastically and extends the life of your PSP battery. Accordingly, playing PSP games you own through CFW is actually superior to playing them without it.

Playing UMD games puts wear and tear on your psp so it will have a shorter life, also it drains the batteries much faster.

Well call me the weird one out because I kinda like playing the system the way it was intended without the cfw. Guess I'll deal with that stuff when it comes up and repair it if possible come time for that to be necessary...

Speaking from experience, this is 100% true. Make an ISO of your UMD and run it off your Memory Stick using CFW. Load times are lightning fast, battery lasts longer, and your PSP doesn't vibrate from disc spinning. This is the path of the enlightened.

Odd thing is I've been running ff1 for a little bit and never noticed vibrating(I can hear it spin up but not much beyond that) the few seconds of load time on some parts don't bug me. All those things that bug you guys I either don't notice or they just plain don't get to me while using it...
