Star Trek 25th Anniversary. It's all action oriented instead of puzzle oriented like the other games of the same name. It's decent. Don't go in expecting total gold though. It's worth the under five bucks you can probably find it for.

I was going to get a Gamecube anyway, though given the price inflation a lot of the top gc games have undergone, that RS II and III are still pretty cheap is a plus.

I'd like to hear why, honestly. I'm playing it right now, and I think it's pretty impressive for originally being a Gamecube launch title. It's really immersive. Even being able to use nearly every ship in the Star Wars universe, and tons to unlock too.

i was going to mention that Lego Star Wars shmup on iOS. it's pretty good! free, too.
