^ Take the above advice.

And Lukes marcaroni art is simply magnificent!

All those warnings in manuals and on-screen messages say to stop and consult a doctor if you're experiencing stuff like the symptoms mas is talking about. I would definitely get checked out before something like a seizure happens.

But yeah, no vidya for a while is prob a good idea. Macaroni never hurt anyone (that I know of).

When Quake and other earlier full 3D games came out I had a friend that couldn't play them for more than a few minutes without getting motion sickness. Space games like Wing Commander were ok, but anything on the ground would mess him up. I think he could play Doom and such a little longer since they were less convincing 3D. You already tried not playing in the dark, google for some other many notes and suggestions on the issue and of course see the doctor if necessary.

I can't play most 3D stuff - I get really dizzy. Usually it's FPS stuff like Hexen / Quake / Goldeneye, but even stuff like Portal 2 with the room rotating is pretty brutal. I get car sick if i'm not driving too - so any time i'm a passenger i'll get physically sick.

I mostly agree w/Luke in that you probably aren't in any sort of danger. However, depending on what's causing it, seeing a doctor could help in that they'll prescribe something. I take Meclizine about 45 minutes before any time I know i'm going to do something that will make me dizzy and it mostly works. I don't love the idea of having to take a pill to play a video game - but...it is an option if you're developing sensitivity to 3D or Hi-Def visuals.

So i spoke to my doctor during my lunch break and he suggest i stop playing games that get me sick like that and see if It's still happening. If I'm still getting sick and dizzy then im going in for a MRI. Right now I feel good. I don't have anything else but the dreamcast and a couple ps1 games mostly castlevania's mega man x4 and 5. My modded xbox finally shit the bed so no more 8 bit and 16 bit systems. So tonight ill try to play the dreamcast with vga and see what happens. I'll keep you guys informed.

Well I played some dreamcast and no problems. Mega man x4 and smackdown 2 no issues. These were all on av cords. Played resident evil 6 for 20 minutes and my eyes were bothering me and I es feeling a little woozy. Guess I'm going to leave the 360 alone and maybe just stay with the dreamcast and what I have for the ps1 for right now. Maybe I'll just get a 16 bit system and just stick with that. Tomorrow im calling a eye doctor and see if I need glasses.
This sucks. I can't play any new stuff because it makes me sick. Ohh well I'll just look around and maybe find a good deal for something and see what happens with the eye doctor. Gotta get some sleep for work tomorrow. Thanks for all the info guys and the concern. I'll let you guys know what happens.

You should try another game, RE 6 can cause that and a deep pain into the soul.

Unless you're in a two-seater, try sitting in the back seat. It's worked for me.
