You can't argue with Wikipedia. It's always all-inclusive and never contains incorrect or debatable information.

Re: True Dreamcast Exclusives
Ha ha. Glad I started a good discussion. Me personally, if it is on arcade or pc but no other console, I would say exclusive. Which would mean console exclusive technically. I didn't know zombies revenge was on arcade though. It would be nice to get a complete list so I know what I could grab that I can't play on any other console. Thanks for the replies guys, this is great!
Re: True Dreamcast Exclusives
Just out of curiosity, why would you only want exclusives for the Dreamcast? A lot of the later ports, or earlier originals have better or comparable versions on the Dreamcast. Add a VGA box to it, with a monitor, or VGA capable (640x480@60hz) display, and you have a picture that far outclasses anything coming from any other 6th gen, or earlier, home consoles. (Aside from the hi-res mode used in some Saturn games.) Also, 240p @15khz support for many of the 2D arcade ports. Nine times out of ten, the DC release is the way to go, unless one is beholden to another console.
Also, Sakura Taisen 3 and 4, and Fushigi no Dungeon: Furai no Shiren Gaiden are exclusive to the DC (but relatively Japanese intensive). There are a lot of imports missing from that Wiki list. Maken X isn't exclusive, either: It was released on the PS2 as Maken Shao ("Shao" standing for XX). It's not a sequel, though. Just an "enhanced" port.

Funny. I also hear this a lot for Power Stone 2 which always seems to take me by surprise.Rydon wrote:I didn't know zombies revenge was on arcade though.

Zombies Revenge is an arcade game that I see in every movie theater near me. No joke.CD AGES wrote:Funny. I also hear this a lot for Power Stone 2 which always seems to take me by surprise.Rydon wrote:I didn't know zombies revenge was on arcade though.

Re: True Dreamcast Exclusives
The Evolution games are not exclusives, they are also on the GameCube.
Sakura Taisen 3 and 4 are also on PC I believe.
Seventh Cross Evolution, Elemental Gimmick Gear, Fushigi no Dungeon: Furai no Shiren Gaiden, and Langrisser Millenium were the first games I thought of.

Re: True Dreamcast Exclusives
It doesn't matter about other releases on other ports or exclusives. My opinion. The dreamcast kicks ass today as it did in 1999 and I would rather play games on the dreamcast like power stone or crazy taxi, mvc 1 and 2, Capcom vs snk, sonic adventure 1 and 2 need I go any further? It just feels right like going to a restaurant like boston market to get a turkey dinner sure it taste great but its not the same as mom's or dad's on thanksgiving day

Propeller Arena. It's even too exclusive for the DC itself, so to speak....
