Hey I'm with you all. I don't know. I look at being able to play a classic game again that I no longer can in it's original form. Yeah the presentation could have been done differently but non the less it's an opportunity to play it in a better form (I am bias towards portables).

Advance is a port - this game is just begging for a remake on 3DS or Vita.

also I take it back, the portraits in this game actually look much better now that I saw a high quality screenshot of them. The character sprites on the other hand.......oh god

Yeah when I saw the price for this I was shocked. What the fuck are they thinking? At this rate the ports of the PS1 games will go for as much as they initially retailed.

I firmly believe that no matter what they did, people (not necessarily the exact same people) would be throwing a bitch-fest.

They change the graphics in a seemingly undesirable way- the They Changed It, Now It Sucks people come out of the woodwork.

They do absolutely nothing and make a straight port- people would have called it a shameless cash-in.

They change the graphics in a desirable fashion- people would complain that it's a smartphone and tablet exclusive release.
