I really appreciate your consideration, but I don't nearly touch my bandwidth limit right now.
Not quite enough traffic here yet to be that much of an issue.
If you're concerned, you can make them a bit bigger than the ones I posted on my pictures link and they should be under 30K each.
oizukitom wrote:Mozgus - That pic looks great...what are you displaying it on and that input is from the DC VGA adapter ? Man that looks great. Don't get me wrong The 2D fighters stay just not at high resolution.
The 320x in the previous post was directed at the actual pics. I did not know if there was a size limit to image uploads so I resized the originals to a smaller size.
Tom
That picture is taken from an 8 year old Gateway EV700 CRT. Bubbled, not flat screen, as you can see. The monitor is actually dying. It cant get nearly bright enough, and I can't seem to get the color balanced right. Whites always look greenish, and when I lower the green, everything just gets way too dark. This game looks fantastic on my LCD, but as you might have read in the other thread, my LCD positions Dreamcast's signal improperly.
I received my ebay'd vga cable from racketboy today (paid $2 more buying-it-now on ebay than on your site... oh well )
Image quality is excellent (on the games that support it, and some that don't with the cable swap trick (my copy of soul calibur) ). I can't wait to build myself a lumenlab.com-style projector and see how it looks.

If only bangai-o worked
It does with a patch, but it will only display on the upper left quarter of the monitor, at 320x240.
Here's some pics, of course you won't be able to see how impressive it actually looks with my crappy cell phone camera This is on an old 21" CRT.
My black dreamcast... i wonder if i could remove the sega sports logo somehow...
Now i need to get a Gamecube component cable and a component>vga adapter and a copy of skies of arcadia for GC... just to put up some comparison shots... If only i had money to waste

You'd be wasting your money. Skies of Arcadia for Gamecube can't do progressive scan.
Eh I don't like the sound of that..."forced". Makes me think graphical glitches.
In some games, yes. There's some compatability lists out there on the interweb.
It looks like SOA and many other games work without issues.
Though Pal games whose NTSC releases support progressive natively probably won't work (not an issue for me here in the US, but something to keep in mind)
