I picked up the physical copy on Saturday (to go with the limited edition XL) but did not put it in until today, and after only a short while playing, I can tell its going to be great! First off, I had heard that the 3d effect was amazing in this, and that it really was worth keeping on, normally I check what the 3d looks like then turn it off. I turned on the 3d and never looked back on this, it looks awesome! The world has depth, and I love how the text boxes seem to be high above everything else. There is a smoothness to the whole game that is hard to describe unless you are playing, you just move so fluidly, it feels great.

The overworld music is awesome, and I cant wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack, I have been reading that this has some very memorable tracks. I cant wait to dive deeper into the game, but just wanted to share some thoughts.

I really want it but it wont be until Christmas that I get it most likely.

I did get the chance to see it in person, and while the graphics looked a bit better the art style still just didn't do it for me.

They're hitting just the right combination of the familiar and the new. So far this is a total hit for me.

I had the biggest nostalgia trip when I stepped into the sanctuary tunnels and Hyrule castle for the first time. Also, the Lorule overworld theme is the best mix of the Dark World theme I've heard. I've also liked the sheer non-linearity of the game, though I wish Ravio didn't bleed you out for money at every chance. Losing four items because the boss got a lucky hit hurts.

Bottle those fairies. It'll save you from things like the Lynels destroying you on Death Mountain. I agree that the music has been awesome so far; I was disappointed when I first went into the castle and it didn't have the old theme (though the ghost of it was at the beginning), but after I needed to storm the castle it was back in all its glory.

That's another thing- combat actually feels somewhat difficult in this game. The 3d zelda games have lacked that for a while. WW it was "lock on, isolate one dude, parry attack him to death". Twilight Princess was absurdly easy even with the sword techniques, and the dungeons were simple enough I didn't quite realize the gerudo prison was a full-out dungeon until like halfway through.
