I was gonna post this earlier, but the RB.com blackout prevented me from doing that.

Good scores so far, but here's the pacesetter -

474,100 - ExedExes - Team NES - Stage 4 - MAME

Made it to the boss, and didn't know the firing pattern of it yet. Died on the spot.

Man.... I have played far too much of this so far. I need to, since Shmups are way out of my comfort zone. It is too high tension.

Here is my score so far.

476,900 - BogusMeatFactory - Iranian Backed Hezbullets - Stage 4 - MAME

Alright, let's get this show on the road...

845,200 - DocHauser - The Columbian Hi-Ballers - Stage 5 - ShmupMAME4.2

The Stage 5 boss is a right git.

I've put an hour in today, 4 runs to the 3rd boss and a wall :/ I need to clear him for that big bonus.

Great score, Doc. Do you have much experience with this one?

I have played it before on the Capcom collection on the PSP, though this is easily the furthest I've managed to get. It's amazing how much your concentration improves when you have a STGT to play for. :)

GAh, I just put in another hour. Low 400's and stage 3 boss consistently. It feels like there is significant rank in this game...if I die twice on stage 2 boss, I coast to 3rd boss. If I get by stage 2 with all lives intact, there are just seeker bullets out of nowhere that kill me on stage 3. So frustrating this one. This is easily the hardest easy game i've ever played.

Stage 2 boss is giving me a lot of problems for some reason. Never played this game before this stgt, so I still have some work to do. Good scores all.
