I have my beat up AsciiPad and this one -

This is the Konami Hyperbeam wireless controller. The small satellite-like receiver plugged into the port you wanted to use it in, and it had really good range.

Damn that thing looks cool. I did a quick search for it on eBay and could only find one listing for $90. Looks like I won't be getting one. :(

They're that expensive? Sometimes it's good to get stuff when it's released huh?

I have one of the wireless Dual Turbo SNES controllers that Acclaim put out.

It plugs into both controller ports and requires line-of-sight for the IR sensor to work. I don't play fighters with it because the D-pad is too stiff for proper rolls, but for a platformer it's a good time.
