Just get a swap magic disc or something, it will be a fraction of the cost. They can get tedious but you don't void your warranty and you won't have to get ripped off by these people. I would say a more reasonable price would be between about 70-80 dollars.
I've looked into the swap disc magic but I don't lie the idea of having a different faceplace for right side of my PS2 (that is compulsory right? you need the faceplate?). It just looks fowl IMO. But thanks for the suggestion.
