I don't think I have one of those unless Metal Slug counts (does it?).theclaw wrote:Try out a 60hz only game like Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels.
It should upscale to 480p progressive as NTSC does.

So I guess nothing then, and I could try a linedoubler to get the 288p to 480/576p and add scanlines with a scanline generator.
I do have Super Mario RPG with 480p/60HZ though.

Yeah you'll have to ask a PAL user about that.
Lum fan.

"There is also one thing you might not know. PAL games are usually made from NTSC games by adding black borders for the additional lines. Now, a modern TV knows about that and overscans the picture so that in case of a NTSC or PAL game, you have the whole screen filled. The iScan Pro however, isn't sophisticated enough. That means that when you connect a PAL source you will end up with black borders. If your TV doesn't have controls for zooming the picture, you end up with a smaller gamespace. Even the GBS-8200 has zoom controls for removing the borders."
This is sorta off-topic but I guess one idea I have is to avoid line-doublers and make everything HD TV acceptable (HDMI N64 adapter, PS1 games on PS2 through GS Mode Selector, NGC Component cables, etc.)
