Local Multiplayer/Co-op or Online?

I always try to play local if I can, but there are some games out there that I love that no one else I know does. So I can definitely appreciate online multiplayer for that. Horse a piece to me, really.

I prefer local. I like to be able to heckle my opponent in real life, be able to make those little bets (If i win you gotta go get me a drink) and have in person bragging rights.

That being said, nobody really plays local multiplayer anymore, and i do play Online multiplayer if I like a game enough.

If I lived closer to my friends, local all the way... but I don't so online all day right now. When I move back to New York, I know this will change.
