I miss Japan so badly. I need to get back there. I spent most of my time in Tokyo, but I have fond memories of Hiroshima and Shiwa (small town in Iwate) as well.

It was interesting to see the American flag flying high in Japan. It also appears that most people in Japan back into their parking space.

Very cool, thanks a bunch of sharing. Going through those pictures is likely to be the most exciting part of my day today, and I'll probably go through the thread again when my gf gets home and show her.
I can't wait to visit myself one day.

Very nice pics, you really captured an insight for the rest of us. I feel like I was in the care driving in Japan myself! That 64 Chevy lowrider caught my eye, must be very uncommon there. The Curry Ramen looks yummy, did you ever try Natto?

As a side effect of that, its why Japanese cars have the gas filler on the right instead of the left like US ones. The steering wheel and whatnot get moved, but generally stuff elsewhere in the car stays put.sonic2041 wrote:I had no idea that Japan drove on the left side of the road.

I don't know if that determines which side the gas filler is on. That Honda Civic I drove has its gas filler on the left side, as you can see in the pictures.
