Well everyone moved to mods. I mean who cares about HL deathmatch? Every once in a while I check and I see some active servers. Even more dead is HL:Source Deathmatch. I've never seen more than 2 active servers. One game I wish had some activity is Shogo Mobile Armor Division. 2 years ago I checked and found 1 active server with 2 people inside. I entered and we basically just stood there and chatted about the good old Shogo days.

It was pretty much everything but Natural Selection and Counterstrike. And while I love a good game of NS, not online.

There goes your argument. It shows quite a few actively played HL1 mods. Keep in mind that this list of games is rarely maintained by Steam. There are a lot of popular HL1 mods that have come out that Steam hasn't recognized, and there are mods like Action HL that have been dead for eons that they haven't removed.

Fine I was wrong. But I do know what I saw when I checked last August, they were dead. I never did check ESF or Day of Defeat though - Neither really clicked.

Though I do have one question for you, why must you nitpick what most everyone says here? I mean I was in the wrong here, not uncommon, but it feels like every post is critical of someone or thing.

You were wrong and I corrected you. When I'm wrong, you do the same to me. I won't bitch about it.
