They probably release more portable games than home console games.

Being sold to Microsoft wouldn't make sense unless they're going to be doing western blockbuster style games from now on. And not the JRPGs they are known for.

Not sure how I would feel about them going first party as they make some great games for every system.

Sony needs to grab these guys, might be the first step in getting Vita a stable fan base.

Here's to hoping they are bought by a 3rd party, or Nintendo/Sony, but not Microsoft *shudder*

I heard a reseller was going to buy Atlus and flip them to Microsoft for a big mark-up.

ALL Day I've seen people scared Microsoft would but Atlus.
Let me ask you this? Does Microsoft even know who Atlus is? They made what 2 games on XBOX/360?

Microsoft and EA will joint buy them and they will make RPG Madden and SMT vs Battlefield crossover! The evil villains take over the gaming world. White knight sonytendo will have to save them from ripping away fundamental rights of gamers while laughing maniacally swimming in their piles of money!!

That's actually the plot of the next Hyperdimension Neptunia game.

I think it's funny when ppl are "scared" of MSFT buying them, when there is 1.) no precedent for them to do this and 2.) no indication that if they did buy them, they would be forced to change what games they make.

EDIT: I kind of want to play that SMT game now J.
