Sweet. I've never heard of a console surviving so long. Technically every console is still "alive" if you count homebrew stuff, but the fact that retail games are still being released on PS2 is quite something.
A FFXI expansion pack was also released fairly recently on PS2 - March I believe? It may be JPN only though.
