I should start doing that...
What? Does it work? I doubt it :P

If it does, it really saddens me.

I don't let that fly.

Kinda like those pricks who sell Beats Of Rage as "New Release, Dreamcast STILL Alive" shit for like 20 bucks.
Lol. I just reported a guy the other day who was trying to sell Dreamcast backups on ebay for $20 a piece.

I tried buying an 8mb memory card for ps2 from a seller who never sent the item after 1 month of waiting, i sent him email after email. confirmed my address 4 times. Yes that FOUR times. he said he had sent it me 3 times. I thought enough is enough, left negative feedback saying that seller was a waste of time and had bad communications. Thats fair right?

next thing i notice when selling something else, my feedback had gone below 100%. I was like WTF! looked at my feedback and the guy and left negative and said that i was bad person, deceptive and was malicious with my emails. WTH?! I ended up having to mutually withdraw feedback due to his completely incorrect feedback as ebay weren't prepared to do anything about it as it's 'his oppinion' and 'the seller is entitled to state how the transaction was carried through in his own words'. Utter bullshit. So he probably gets away with taking money and not sending the item out just because nobody can leave negative feedback as he returns the favor even if it's not the buyers fault! Argh!!

Sorry bout the rant. Some ebayers really piss me off sometimes.

(btw i complained quite a lot to ebay and managed to get my money refunded so it's not all bad.)

Thats what everyone does. I used to always wait til the seller gives me one, before I give them one, but you'll find that no sellers do this. Withholding feedback from you is insurance to them, and both parties know this. Its a broken system. But these days I don't care anymore. I leave bad and neutral ones when it's due, and if I get a bad one in return, I file a claim and it gets handled. Only had to do it twice. You'd think ebay would always side with the seller, because the seller pays fees to Ebay, while the buyer does not. But I guess they understand that without buyers, there would be no sellers, and so on.
