Re: Game Sack - Gaming on a Budget
When the Rampage segment started, I was immediately confused, and a little hurt.
"Joe" I asked, "what betrayal is this? The Master System version of this game is so much better. You're supposed to be a man of Sega. How could you?"
But I kept watching, and the truth was revealed, and my faith restored. I'm sorry for doubting you.
Seriously though, great episode, and the ending gags were great too.

Interesting how you chose the high end of the spectrum to apply to all of the games in the video. Most were $10 or less. One was under $15. One was $20 (A Boy and His Blob for the Wii, not exactly an older game). The Neo Geo ones were a bit more, but still dirt cheap for the Neo Geo. These aren't just random games like Bratz Xtreme Babysitting, either. These are games that are good enough that you'd think they'd be in higher demand with a higher cost.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Interesting games, but I'm actually surprised at how high the prices are. "under $20" isn't inexpensive for an older game. Nearly all my game purchases are under $20, and that includes games released this generation!

Today's cheap games are tomorrow's rare gems.
