I thought playing these WAS watching them.

nope. In fact, to beat Night Trap you pretty much have to miss most of the story. :|

I like the floaty camera and the overpowered volumetric lighting in SotC but I can see where you're coming from. Everything else I fully agree with.
I was thinking of mentioning Uncharted but I actually avoided it for just this reason.
There's some arcade puzzle games (names escape me) that I've seen on youtube with crazy combos in the videos but I can't seem to even aproach without dying. I at least understood the basics of the mechanics, but I didn't find them fun.

I'm interested; Does anyone feel this way about Tetris, or is it universally fun for everyone who even attempts it? I feel it's the total opposite of this topic, but does anyone actually dislike it?

I think I spend more time spectating in War Thunder, than I do actually playing it.

That's more likely because I suck hard at that game, and end up running out of planes in the first 5 minutes of a match though.

I can think of plenty of times where I've enjoyed watching someone play a game. I can't really think of any game where I wouldn't rather be playing it myself though...

For me I would say its more fun for me to watch someone play Resident Evil games than to play them. I am a big panzy when it comes to playing the games, mainly because of the many nights I spent as a kid watching my dad play them in pitch black dark lol.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

Capcom fighting games. I hate playing them, but I love watching (good) people play.
