"In response to your repeated requests to bring back the TV show "At the Movies," I am launching a fundraising campaign via Kickstarter in the next couple of weeks. And gamers beware, I am even thinking about a movie version of a video game or mobile app. Once completed, you can engage me in debate on whether you think it is art."
:(

Sad day.

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, zero stars.
My neighbour bought that movie for me a few years ago.

It's the only present I ever gave back.

A sad day indeed.

RIP, good sir. RIP.

I don't personally believe in giving gifts back.

I do, however, believe in casting the offending object into the sacrificial bonfire of the Horrendous Gifting Gods. It ensures that I will not receive another such horrid present for at least another year.

I get an extra four years if I add a goat.

In other words: sacrifice 20 goats and you're set for life...

The guy was happy I gave it back. Apparently he really liked the movie...

Worse of all, I got him a really nice framed 3D Scarface poster.

Talk about different standards...

I have a book of his lowest rated films, or at least the ones with the most amusing reviews, and I love it. I have always looked to him first for movie reviews. Even when I don't agree with him, I know his style well enough that I can still figure out roughly what I'll think of a movie based on his review. He will be missed.

Pfft, she's fine. No one's given me a sh*^*$ gift recently.

But the minute someone does, that nanny goat's days are numbered

I think it's sad when anyone dies. But I was never particularly a fan of Mr. Ebert.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.
