Great, inspiring article. I'm going to try some of his games. The execution isn't top-notch but i appreciate a fresh concept over the industry-driven hype not only in games but in movies and stuff.

Very likely, yes. One of the definitions would be "games exist to be played". Of course there's a bit more to it, but it suffices for now because here we have something that can't be played and has never been played, assuming it even exists in the first place. So really, what is there to be giving out awards for?

What he has done, though, is push the start button on the world's largest geocache chase. That's pretty cool in itself. But I wouldn't really count geocaching as a game. And because of my geographical location I can't even partake in the metagame of searching for it.
