if only they made it easy to see right away what my subscriptions have UPLOADED, and not what they liked commented ect. Yes I know there is an option, but it doesn't default to that option for me....

It's as simple as a new bookmark which I found 2 weeks ago --

http://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions

That will always take you to the subscription feed instead of the annoying default which puts everything out of order.

Also, Greasemonkey scripts are your friend to deal with the other stuff. Look for "YouTube Center" which offers a lot of nice customizable viewing options, and "No Google+" which will stop the "change to your real name" popups as you try to comment.

I have a really common sounding name (as you probably noticed when I PM'ed you) but I still don't like my real name floating around the internet.

I personally think this is a good layout design. As long as they don't keep changing it to something completely different twice a year, I'm down.
