I had to use the Tingle Tuner to find all the tri-force pieces in the sea, was my least favorite part of the game.Retrodude wrote:LOZ: The Wind Waker. An amazing game, but it's just too damn long. It took me weeks of playing an hour or two a day before I even reached the halfway point and at that point I kinda gave up on it.
Games so awesome!, that you never finished...

Vagrant Story. I love everything about it and I usually refer to it as one of my top 10 favorite games, but I have never finished it because I did a poor job of leveling up my weapons and I'm too weak to win. If I ever want to see the ending I'm probably going to have to start over from scratch.

I'd thought we'd lost "There's already a thread for that" Luke in favor of "Movie snob" Luke.Luke wrote:We have a Games Not Beaten thread.

ZombiU I play it once every couple of months, it's so hard for me to play comfortably with permadeath and zombies jumping out at every corner.
This game stress' me to no end but I will beat it.....someday

Arpuhguh? Fffpiss? Bah!
"Shmup" is far more elegant!

"There's already a thread for that" Luke will be here to stay. If stating that X3 and GREEN LANTERN are terrible movies, I guess "Movie Snob" Luke isn't going anywhere either.MrPopo wrote:I'd thought we'd lost "There's already a thread for that" Luke in favor of "Movie snob" Luke.Luke wrote:We have a Games Not Beaten thread.
Despite being at the last level, I've never beaten GOW2.

I'll jump in on this one...
Nectaris: Military Madness (PS1) - I enjoy turn-based military strategy games, and I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Nonetheless, my armies are always hopelessly, hopelessly outnumbered in every battle, and the AI will crush me if I make even the slightest tactical error. Moreover, the battles take quite a while even after adjusting the settings for more efficient play. Finally, I can only play the game is on a console, and I do most of my gaming on handhelds. Right now, I am at the point now where I am considering purchasing a PSP and modding it just so that I can finally get through this game.

Will be picking up Ascension on launch!
And if you meant Gears of War 2, i beat that co-op with a friend, wasnt very good compared to the 1st Gears of War.

Whoops. I can see how GOW could be mistaken for Gears of War.Hazerd wrote:Ive also never beaten God of War 2...Luke wrote:

I just hit "the wall" with God of War 2. It's one of those games I'll replay one day and wonder "why did I think this was difficult?". Sometimes it is better to put a game back on the shelf for a while.
