Yeah the third game had one of the worst dubs I've seen, watched a friend play a chunk of that one and it looked pretty awful. Always been curious about 4 though.
360 version is US voices only, PS3 is dual audio.

And you cannot comprehend just how horrible the disc switching problem is on the 360. It's not like in the PS1 days where you had multiple discs to store all the movies, and the game had all the assets it needed for gameplay on each disc. On the 360 you have about half the planets on one disc and half on the other. If you want to do the end-game crafting you will need to go between early and later planets to get all the materials you need. Every time you do you need to switch discs. It's asinine. Lost Odyssey was leagues better; they followed the PS1 model of using multiple discs.

On a related note, I still can't get over the horrible disc switching in Mass Effect 3. People like to think that the ending was the only thing wrong with Mass Effect 3, but it wasn't. It had other problems too that being one of the most annoying

Check out Valkyrie Profile 2. I'm not even going to try and explain that battle system, just look at the gameplay video.

BTW: Star Ocean PS2 has a story with pacing issues, some good rising action, and a horrible mindscrew conclusion. If you're looking for great RPG combat, though, you can't go wrong. It's a lot of fun and, if you like, a second person can join in.

SO the disc swapping problem cant be avoided by installing the game onto your xbox hard-drive?

Correct, but that's true of every 360 game that uses multiple discs. The 360's disc install still requires the disc to be in the drive to validate that you actually have it.

Ahh I've never really instaleld games, but a friend of mine suggested it. I guess I'll have to see if I can find the ps3 version, or let the Achievement whore in me take over and just play the Xbox version for the Gamerscore points...
