What (RETRO) systems do you plan to buy in 2013
Re: What (RETRO) systems do you plan to buy in 2013
I would like to get an SNES again, since I had to sell mine late last year. I also just bit the bullet and ordered the racketboy saturn mod chip. I can finally try out some real games on my saturn (have had it for 2 years and have yet to experience anything besides Tempest 2000). Other than that I am determined to get an MVS cab, waiting for the right deal to come across Craigslist.

I'm not sure if I want to get a new retro system, or finally give my Saturn some love by buying an Action Replay and some imports, but if I do end up getting a new console I'm leaning towards a TurboDuo or something of that nature.

An Atari Lynx is all I really want. And a PSP, if that counts as retro yet.
I'd say 3DO or Sega CD, but most the games I want on those systems I can get on PS1 or Saturn (or via a collection, like Sonic CD on Sonic Gems). I had a Sega CD, but it started having trouble reading discs, and the rise in price on these just doesn't seem worth the replacement.

damn. I am in the same situation too.
I have lots of systems and dont have enough time to play them all.
If I come across these systems and the price is right, just maybe.
Lynx, Nomad, 7800, Jaguar, Intellivision, Coleco, Vectrex, Neo Geo
But these guys are the less common stuff. I may have to shell out more to own these.
Lets see what happens next.

I'm pretty happy with my console situation at the moment. I'll be getting the Ouya when it comes out, and if I were to also buy new consoles, I would buy a Wii and PSP, neither of which are retro. However, I will probably look around for an old computer with just enough specs to run Windows 98. Does that count? Additionally, while I'm not planning on buying it, I may just yet get a Turbo Duo or some other PC Engine variant.

PC Engine is really something I'd like to add to my collection, lots of PC Engine CD games I want to play. I don't see it happening this year though.

None, would like to round out my GameCube/SNES/Wii collections, my SNES collection is almost there..
Re: What (RETRO) systems do you plan to buy in 2013
I'd like to get an Atari Lynx model 2, and maybe a TG-16 or TG-16 Express.

I plan on getting a DSI XL and a model 1 high definition graphics sega Genesis, which I got today and god does it sound much better then my model 2, which now will only be used when I plan to play my model 2 CD, or if I can find the extension I will use it with the model 1 and save the model 2 for the 32X.
