Galaxy Force II - Sadly the framerate is noticeably lower here if you compare them on YT (as stated in the comments here: the PS2 port is better and maybe the PC one as well (haven't seen it).

I have a list of exclusives, console exclusive arcade ports, and comments from various sources on version differences when there are other ports in the works. It's a bit messy and missing language barrier info since I just copy pasted it from Word but it could be helpful:

I don't think long load times between rounds or whatever is enough to classify something as not-perfect, unless it's midround like with Mortal Kombat, but low framerate and cut frames of animation definitely are. I've bumped both down to "conversion."

I've also updated the OP. I'll specify which games are a part of which collection later on. Please keep the recommendations coming, though, and feel free to further clarify if a game isn't up to par or not. I have, admittedly, not played every port on the list, so some, like Area 51, are just assumptions.

Yep, and one of the best ST-V games.

This sort of stretches perfect arcade port, doesn't it? Are we doing just general arcade ports?

Actually, thinking about it, you are correct. I'll move them to the conversion list.

If you'd checked my list then you'd have a few more to move down to conversions (Waku Waku 7, Samurai Spirits 4, Strikers 1945 II)

I think stating the reasons why next to each game, so people can judge for themselves if a non-accurate conversion is still worth getting or not, would be a good idea.
Ah, sorry I missed this. I'm at work so I can't really read through it right now, but I'll take a closer look tonight when I'm off.
