I put the N64 in the "Not really worth owning" category for most people. There are a few cool things on it... but not a lot.

Ehhhh... I feel the PS1 isnt really worth collecting for, discs break easy, hard to find complete copies that arent totally scratched and cases cracked.

N64 Carts will stand the test of time, my collection wouldnt be complete without all the awesome N64 games:

Banjo-Tooie
Banjo-Kazooie
Super Mario 64
Mario Party 1, 2, and 3
Mario Kart 64
F-Zero X
Turok 1, and 2
Super Smash Bros.
Pokemon Stadium
Pokemon Snap
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye 007
Paper Mario
Star Fox 64
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Wave Race 64
LoZ: Ocarina of Time
LoZ: Majora's Mask
Jet Force Gemini
Harvest Moon 64
1080 Snowboarding
Snowboard Kids 1, and 2
Bomberman 64
Bomberman 2nd Attack
Cruisin USA, Exotica, World
Donkey Kong 64
Killer Instinct GOLD
Blast Corps
Pilotwings 64
Doom 64
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Extreme G
Body Harvest

I cant imagine not of playing any of these games.

They are great wrestling games, no doubt. But they don't have anything over the PS1, because the PS1 has WWF: Smackdown 1 & 2, the 2 best wrestling games of that generation, IMO.

Fire Pro Six Man Scramble would like to have a word with some of you.

But Obviously No Mercy is on my list.

If I can find a Tristar 64 too I'm all over that.

I'm a Huge fan of Treasure. Though they aren't immune to Bad game syndrome. They are at least consistant.

I really liked some n64 puzzle games, especially tetrisphere and pokemon puzzle league (tetris attack). I believe both are cheap and very fun :}

it seems like most N64 games are cheap especially compared to PS1 games and US Saturn Games (import Saturn on the other hand...)

The most I've spent on an N64 game so far is about $50 for Sin and Punishment.

See, I have or have had (and deliberately parted with) about 25 of those 40 or so games you listed and "N64" is still always my first response to the question "if you were going to get rid of a console, which one would it be?". Very few of those games are the best entries in their franchise, and when I do get an inkling to MAYBE play one of them I am reminded of the horrible controller I will have to use to do so. The PS1 and Saturn, on the other hand, get a lot of regular play year in and year out, in part because of their great arcade ports, RPGs, etc.

You'd choose the N64 over the 32X?

I do like both my PS1 and my Saturn more than N64. PS1 much more than the N64. But I still can find plenty of things to enjoy about the N64:

-1080 Snowboarding
-Duke Nukem: Zero Hour
-Goldeneye: 007
-The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask
-Mario Kart 64
-Paper Mario
-Starfox 64
-Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth
-Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire & Rogue Squadron
-Super Mario 64
-Super Smash Bros.
-Turok 1-3
-Wave Racer 64
-WCW/nWo: Revenge
-WWF: Wrestlemania 2000 & No Mercy

I still hate the N64 controller, though. I just deal with it for those games.
