SP rules - it will play virtually anything for any "Game Boy" system.

The Micro is a cool thing in my opinion, just overall not better than the SP. It's not something you want to play on for long periods of time but it's something you can easily shove into your pocket if you want to play a few minutes of a game during your downtime while you're out.foxhound1022 wrote:I'm probably in the minority of people who actually enjoy the Micro. I still have my Famicom Micro from when I originally bought it.
IDK, it just feels right; almost like a NES controller w/ shoulder buttons.

I chose the SP, model 101 to be exact. Looks like just about everyone prefers the SP.

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't like about the Micro; GBA only.BoneSnapDeez wrote:SP rules - it will play virtually anything for any "Game Boy" system.

The GBA SP is the winner for me, but I have to say, if the original GBA had a lit screen then it would be the winner. I like the way the original GBA feels in my hands better. The lack of a lit screen keeps me from playing it more, though I do use it as a controller when playing games on the Gamecube's GameBoy Player.

I basically agree.Ziggy587 wrote:The GBA SP is the winner for me, but I have to say, if the original GBA had a lit screen then it would be the winner. With handhelds, I prefer the "buttons around the screen" (original GBA, NGPC, PSP) design over the "buttons below the screen" (GB, GBC, GBA SP) design.

Now only if Nintendo had released an official backlit original GBA, it fits in your hands so much better, thats the only gripe i have about the SP, not very ergonomic...
Re: Your FAVORITE GAMEBOY system (poll)
Anyone know how much it would cost to install a backlight in a GBA?
