It always makes me happy when Nintendo fans start branching out, especially to the Genesis. There's so much to appreciate and discover on consoles you didn't grow up with.

yeah I'm super open to trying new systems. I love lots of videogames. it's hard for me to say I hate a certain brand or console I love both Genesis and SNES. They both rule for varying reasons

The genesis was my first system, and while it isn't quite my favorite, it has too many fantastic games. I couldn't even begin to start listing them. Fortunately there are some great lists on this site.
If you want to see some 'Nintendo polish' on the Genesis, however, I would recommend the GameFreaks games, and the Wonder Boy/Monster World series.
