I also feel sad about how easily people sell out and ignore artistic integrity for money. Ken is part of the problem, rather than the solution.
You do realize that Ken's artistic integrity is in the design of the actual game, right? I don't think he really cares too much what the box art looks like.

Hmm. 4 groundbreaking games that are now recognized for their excellency but despite that sold poorly/not well enough during release.

Maybe for box art in this instance, but his name is tied to System Shock 2, Bioshock, SWAT 4, Thief: The Dark Project, Tribes: Vengeance, Freedom Force VS The Third Reich. Those titles are all part of the solution.

I think its pretty bad, especially if its gonna sit on the shelf next to Bio 1&2. It needs to be changed so it can visually represnt the series imo, Im a super fan of Bioshock and will be getting this @ 12:01.

All of them have a picture of a face in them rather than a guy with a gun :)

Oh, I only picked up on the fact that they all had good, memorable box art.

There are some games that sold fine, even with face-art:
Although admittedly, they're all from the same series.Image

The Diablo and Fallout games also featured pictures of faces on the cover

The people who play such games must not be real gamers.

Since when is making money a bad thing? Especially when they're still doing really interesting things with the story? It's just box art.
