Is there any way I cold get some pics of the cords and adapters, I tried to use google but could not find any pics. Also what do you really think of it, is it a good stick for all the systems? I am kinda thinking about one since it would cover all my 16 bit and older stuff. Is it heavy duty and able to take a beating?

I've only played with it a little when I got it. The sticks are a bit stiff (maybe because mine is new) and most afficionados probably would want to swap out the sticks, especially if they're playing fighting games. The buttons are fine IMHO if you don't mine concave and the case is steel and weighty. It should hold up pretty well it seems. The feet on the bottom are screwed on too, not just stuck on.

The GEN/SMS/C64/Amiga/Atari cords are long. If you're connecting to those you just use the long cords. If you're hooking to a NES or SNES you add the appropriate foot long adapter on the end. Since the longer cords are plain DB9 on both ends, any DB9 extension cable should work.

There are other pairs of ports for Gen/MD and NES/SNES as well as these. You connect the cables to whichever depending on what system you're using.

I have an Innovation Virtual Stick, but I don't have the cable to connect it to the MD, just the PS1 and Saturn cables.

sadly the easiest route for a multi console stick is building your own....the only mc board i would recommend is the cthulu but it doesn't support mega drive/ genesis.

Thanks for the pics Hobie, I think that after changing the sticks it could be pretty sweet.

the asciiware power clutch sg is a pretty basic stick but i use it for all of my shmup needs on my genesis. it only comes in 3 button flavors so it wouldn't be that great for fighting games, but it's got a good heavy base with solid buttons and a tight stick.

My Saitek Megamaster MX-342 arrived yesterday. Feels good, nice microswitched stick, responsive buttons. Not very heavy but it's got six rubber feet, so should be fine. Can't test it yet as I'm still waiting for the console to arrive! But as you can see, I'm all ready for it when it reaches me...

I hope it performs as well as it looks and feels. If it does, I think I'll have got a good buy for £10.

Got a chance to try it today and am not that impressed to be honest. The buttons take a lot of pressing before they connect - a long "travel", so not great for rapid presses. The stick is microswitched as expected and seemed good to start with but is very stiff so tired me pretty quickly! I've ordered an ascii type stick like the one above to compare it with and will sell on the loser.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions!
