Well then, the only other thing you can do right now is open it up to take a look. I believe the Game Shark uses standard philip head screws, so you don't need a special security bit to open it. I've read a few times that the manufacturing quality can be poor, and bad solder joints are easy to fix.

Well it's apart and I cleaned it good. It still doesn't work and honestly I have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking at.

If you can, post a picture of the front and back of the PCB. If you do, make sure the pics are good quality (in focus and a decent resolution).

Thanks Ziggy for all that info. I work in the warehouse defective room for a local game store chain and these come in on occasion with a similar problem. Sometimes I can get them to work, sometimes not.
