If I could copy and paste that a few hundred times without the forum users questioning my sanity after about #50 or so, then I'd do that. Having regular DLC to enhance one's game experience is one thing, but WHY DO YOU GOTTA PAY TO GET SOMETHING THAT'S ON THE DISC ALREADY?!

As far as DLC, good luck finding all those items/features available years down the road when they're no longer deemed "profitable". Same with multiplayer game servers. I was a bit upset to find that Ikaruga on the GC discontinued their online scoreboards like 4 years after the game came out.

I'll also add special items/perks/bonuses only available if you get the game from a certain store. That would require multiple copies just to get all that you may want from a game.

Ok I am a cynic. I know the answer to all those :(

Some that I dont' really know the answer to:

1) Why hasn't Square remade FFVII a billion times?
2) Why didn't anyone market the shit out of the Sonic 3 soundtrack when MJ died?
3) Why was the Beatmania IIDX Gold US test really cancelled? What were they really looking for?
4) Why did it took Konami a decade to make harder DDR songs?

I think Square realizes that the nostalgia goggles are so very high with FFVII that if they remake it they will encounter massive cries of "It sucks now!"
2) Why didn't anyone market the shit out of the Sonic 3 soundtrack when MJ died?
Because the whole MJ Sonic 3 thing is tenuous in the eyes of many people and it doesn't really evoke the same feelings as his regular music.
3) Why was the Beatmania IIDX Gold US test really cancelled? What were they really looking for?
Because Konami feeds on your tears.
4) Why did it took Konami a decade to make harder DDR songs?
See above.

I don't mind the glossy finishes. They look nice and easier to clean. My matte finish DSi and PSP E1000 sometimes trap dirt and it's a bitch to clean. With a glossy finish, it's done in one wipe.

But still, nobody even tried? For a quick buck? They released stuff based on less credible connections, why not this? I mean, I understand, it's a videogame. It sucks. But dunno, I just think it's weird nobody even commented on it.
Because Konami feeds on your tears.
That explains everything.

On disc DLC (fuck you capcom)
Making games focused on multiplayer but don't add split screen.
Games that say it will have cool extras and they came with a DLC code (again fuck you capcom on your Resident Evil 6 Anthology)
Sequel fatigue, SO many assassins creed that i don't find myself interested in the series... (i didn't even play 1 but still knowing that are 6 games on so few years...)

Once great developers out sourcing all of their game development. Looking at you, Capcom.

Or, once the development has been outsourced, the firing or liquidation of all their human capital the moment the game gets to the market.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yes, this so much! I did not buy the new SSX game purely for the fact that it has no split screen.
