SNES region converter or FC twin?

I packed it securely and I'd played it for an hour after cleaning to test it so it was working when it left. But thanks for assuming.

As for the video cable I did send a US composite one as I had spares. I didn't have a power brick to include but he can't be using a SNES PAL power brick because the US SNES has the weird plug that doesn't match other region systems. This was discussed beforehand, just to head off any thoughts from anyone that I purposefully sold it and left out any information.

Just to make sure, the power brick you found that fits puts out 10v DC with at least 850 mA and has a negative center skinny pin? Can you take a picture of the end plug and the information block on the brick you've been trying to use?

I've been trying to help figure out what the issue is, we just haven't gotten anywhere yet. Though apparently something was rattling when it arrived, which wasn't the case when it left and apparently the box was still ok when it got there too.

May not know until it is popped open. *sigh*

Are you trying to use PAL video cables? NTSC SNES usually needs different ones.

The PAL SNES power supply is not a good idea either. It outputs AC, while an NTSC SNES expects DC.

I have NTSC video cables and I didn't try using my PAL SNES power supply

I've tried it with two power bricks, I returned one, the other one claims to be a SNES power supply even though it's only DC9V-850mA. I'm sure that the other power brick I tried (made by Nintendo) was DC10V-850mA though.

I'm not sure what a "negative center skinny pin" is though - could you elaborate?

I mean the little pin in the middle of the plug. But in the picture you posted, I can see the center pin and the label indicates that the center is negative.
