4 or 5 I guess. Dad had a 2600. First game machine we got in my home was an Atari ST when I was 5. My uncle would bring over cracked games. Dynamite Dux, Temple of doom. Paint Works.
Strangely I never actually got into games until I was in 2nd grade and I became obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog.
When did you start playing games?

I was about 5, I guess. I remember being fascinated with arcade games; (late 70s, early 80s), but my parents hardly ever let me play. Then one day my dad got us a 2600. I liked it well enough, but of course it wasn't the same. Some years later we got a NES, and that's when I think I truly became a gamer...

3 with the NES. I fondly remember Blaster Master, Super Mario Bros, putting the light gun up to the television for Duck Hunt, Megaman games, Golf NES, etc.
Re: When did you start playing games?
I would say I was somewhere between 8 and 10 years old, my first exposure to gaming was with a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A computer. I remember playing Munch-Man (a Pac-Man knockoff), TI Invaders (obviously a Space Invaders knockoff) and Super Demon Attack. I also had started programing my own text games and saved them to audio cassettes. Yep, I feel old...
Re: When did you start playing games?
Hmm, a lot of stuff happened and I'm not sure what came first but I believe around first grade I went to a kid's birthday and he had Mario Bros. I was totally amazed by the game and pretty much sat playing it for the whole party; I was only pried away for some cake.
I was always glued to friend's NES systems till I finally got my own when the SNES came out.

The ealiest thing I remember in my life is playing Soul Calibur on Dreamcast when I was two. I don't remember actually playing it, I do remember watching the intro with the controller in my hands. Mom assures me that I did actually play, as she remembers the painful hours of when I forced her to play with me, and then once it was finally over and she thinks she's free, I force her to watch Star Wars multiple times.

Insert clever quote here.
