I'm on the Eastern Shore of Va, and I'm seeing some rain and gusts around 15-20mph or so. Our house is high enough and far enough away from the water that we don't have to worry about coastal flooding. Our ditches will probably overflow though. With the last hurricane we got a ton of wind, but we were lucky enough to only be out of power for about 16 hours or so. Hopefully we'll make it out of this one safely as well.

Yup. Sears has somehow managed to stay open, but that mall was a dump to begin with. I could see the other mall in Greenville being torn down as well. Besides Belk, JCP, and Hibbet's, there's not a reason to go there. When a mall can't even keep a GAP open, you know it's on tough times.

Here in Philly, we're expecting a lot of rain, wind and fire-breathing frogs falling from the sky (or at least that's what the news has been saying). I just cleaned out the gutters and got the usual supplies. I sure wish I didn't put off fixing the leak in my kitchen.

I'll muddle through the way I usually do when you East Coast guys are having your typical weather disasters.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm dead center for the path come late Monday night. South enough in PA for no snow fortunately.

8 inches over 2 days? Pfft, amateurs. :P

But seriously, bring the patio furniture in, unplug the consoles and be safe guys.

I live in Florida, so we are always prepared with extra canned food, water, batteries, etc, until November 30th. However, for once the storm's not hitting us, so we haven't had to do squat. It's sort of refreshing, actually.

Stay safe, guys and gals.
