I was very skeptical when it came to small touch screen controls. But after trying out KOFi2012 and Blazing Star i was surprised to have so much fun with them. I like the bigger screen on my iPad so I tend to play them on there more than my iPhone.
I also enjoy the following on my iPhone:
Soul Calibur, SF X Tekken, SFIV, Final Fantasy 1+2, and PACMAN.
When it comes to ports to ios we just have to keep an openER mind and these ports have been great so far.

The upcoming version of Baldur's Gate sounds incredible! It's the original developer with the source code, but the gutted the old menu system to update it with all new iPad touch controls, updated the behind the scenes logic, but kept the core RPG gameplay intact. Plus they are looking to the future by making it available for future games like Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, etc...
