If your parents have space for your stuff and don't mind, it really seems like an easy solution. Invest a bit on some protection for your stuff so that it can stay safe and dry at your parents house and insure it there against theft and accidents etc. (even if your parents are insured, it very likely won't cover your stuff so think about it).

If you mostly collect for collecting sake I think you don't really need to haul it off with you (at this stage - if you really settle down long-term elsewhere you probably want to move it then). With a collection so large you can't play all of it so bring some pictures of the collection with you, and just a few choice bits to actually play.

This is not for now, but you should really work on getting rid of those unnecessary 30% down the line when you have more time, don't wait until the next time you are moving and have little time.

On topic: you sound like you love your games too much to sell them. As long as youre not permanently moving, id ask my family to store them. It gives you the ability to start with a clean slate in the states.
